Pauline had asked: When can I delete old Hotfixes, security fixes, etc? They are piling up and I am leary of deleting them. Do the new fixes incorporate the old ones. I thank you in advance. Pauline

I had adressed this in Question #23, but I wasn't happy with the answer. I did some more research and I finally found what I would consider a definitive answer on this question – or at least an answer from a good source. On the MS web site, there is an article by Tony Northrup, Windows XP Expert Zone Community Columnist talking about restoring system performance. In this article he says not to remove updates or hotfixes.
