Zone Alarm is advertising an encryption program for home computers for $19.95. The name of the program is Steganos Safe 8. Are you familiar with this product? Is it a good idea to fully encrypt one's hard drive in a home or laptop pc?

With all the baddies out there, I certainly think it is a good idea to encrypt files that contain your personal data. I am not familiar with the product but the writeup I read on it sounded pretty good and the price is right.
I use Windows XP Pro and have all my personal files encrypted through the operating system. This is even more important if you travel with a laptop. I would not recommend encrypting ALL the files, just your personal ones like your documents folder and your email repository.
