Can not open install.log
I have Windows XP Home Edition with SP2. I am trying to
remove YAHOO Messenger. I get this error message in a popup
window from Wise Uninstall :- "Could not open INSTALL.LOG file."
How do I access this file?

The "Could Not Open Install log" error usually indicates a corrupt
installation. This may have been caused by a bad download or a
poorly written program. A couple of things you can try.
1. If you still have the original downloaded file, locate it and rename it
to something like <programname>.old. Then redownload the program from
a different location if possible. Reinstall it using this copy, then uninstall it. (If you try this, make sure
the version you download is the same as the original)
2. Download and install Ashampoo Uninstaller Suite - See the RELATED LINK
below - reinstall the program using Ashampoo to log everything the installation
does. Then
uninstall it using Ashampoo.
Ashampoo makes some good software and I have tried several of them. If you don't
want to puy the program, it has a 30 day free trial so you can download
it, use it to fix your problem and then remove it.
